PHIL ROSEBROOK SR, President
Phil
Rosebrook Sr. is the managing partner and founder of Business Mentors.
He has been an entrepreneur for nearly 5 decades. He earned his
BS Degree from Wisconsin State University in Oshkosh. After college,
he started three companies in Chicago, including a plumbing and
electric company, a swimming pool maintenance company and a swimming
pool construction company. These businesses were very successful
and allowed him to retire at the age of 33.
During this time he moved to McKenzie Bridge, Oregon and kept busy
running a gentleman’s ranch. He also spent time driving a
backhoe, 977 Caterpillar, and raising twenty five head of cattle.
He became a licensed real estate broker and consultant for several
small businesses. He was also very involved in raising his four
children and even spent a year as the high school track coach.
In 1988 he purchased a restoration company in Eugene, Oregon to
provide a place for the family to work as the kids started college.
The company grew from one office to having a regional presence serving
much of the Western Part of Oregon with four offices. He served
as the President of the Western Chapter of Disaster Kleenup International – and was very involved in the industry on a national
level as well as managing the local business.
In 1997 Phil sold the restoration business and started Business
Mentors. The business was founded in response to a need for professional
advice and assistance in running a restoration company. He has served
on the Water Loss Committee Advisory Board and
is a member of the Advisory Board for IMACC.
Phil works as a business strategist and assists in putting together
a strong business plan. He often works on partnership and family
business issues. He frequently performs the initial business analysis
and develops the long and short term strategies for the business.
He is experienced in interviewing, hiring, mergers and acquisitions,
exit strategies and managing banking relationships. He is a true
mentor for the entrepreneur and not only assists in putting together
a plan for business development, but often assists with personal
development and growth issues.
Phil has been married to his wife Carol since 1968 and raised three
sons and a daughter. He enjoys cigars, is active in his church,
enjoys foreign travel and is an avid bike rider. He lives in Eugene,
