JEFF JOHNSON

Jeff is the President and CEO of J&L Restoration and Cleaning in Lansing, Michigan. He has been active in the construction and restoration business in Mid Michigan for nearly 40 years.  He has a full complement of construction skills and experience ranging from framing to exterior work.  He has been actively involved in restoration since the mid 1970’s. 

Jeff and his wife Linda have created a successful company based on integrity, quality, exceptional customer service and a great staff.  They have been in business for over 20 years and have an impeccable reputation in the marketplace.  The company operated primarily as a reconstruction company until 1997 when they set up a cleaning and water damage division and started to perform full service restoration.  They are frequently a first adaptor of new techniques and technology in an effort to excel and provide value. 

Due to Jeff’s extensive experience and training in the industry he is often called to be an expert witness concerning construction defects.  He has hands on skills in managing projects and writing estimates.  He has written thousands of estimates and is an expert in the Xactimate estimating software.  Due to his experience and integrity, Jeff has been asked to serve as an umpire to mediate disputes between insured’s and insurance companies and has also served as an appraiser for various insurance companies. 

Jeff has an extensive restoration and construction educational background.  He has taken many management and construction classes through the local Colleges and the National Association of Home Builders.  His restoration training includes various mold and water damage courses as well as dozens of restoration conferences and conventions. 

Jeff is very active in his local community. He is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce and has been recognized for his participation in charitable work on Barrier Free home renovations.

Jeff has been married to his wife Linda for over 30 years.  They have two adult children and a grandson.  Jeff is an avid Scuba Diver and a recreational golfer.  Jeff is a resident of Dimondale, Michigan.
